Share the Bridge is a free app for practicing and presenting the Gospel. You can use it without an account. This page explains what stays on your device, what we receive when you write to us, and who helps us run the app.

There is no sign-in, and we do not ask for your name to use the app.
Notes, bookmarks, drawings, and practice chats are stored on your device.
We receive a name or email only when you put one in a message to us.
We do not sell information, and we do not show advertising.
This policy covers the Share the Bridge app on the web, iOS, and Android, and the pages on sharethebridge.app, including the contact form and the leader kit. Arjun Gupta operates the app. To ask about your information, use the contact form or email support@arjungupta.dev.
The app keeps your own work on the device or browser you are using. That includes:
Deleting the app, or clearing the site data for sharethebridge.app, removes that information from the device. We do not have a copy of your notes or practice transcripts to restore.
When you practice a conversation, the recent messages in that session are sent to our server so it can ask OpenAI for a reply. The request includes the practice partner you chose and your app language. We do not attach your name, and we do not store the transcript on our servers. The conversation history that you can reopen later is saved on your device.
OpenAI processes those messages to generate the reply. Their handling of API inputs is described in the OpenAI API data usage policy.
The feedback form stores the kind of note (a suggestion, a bug, or a content note), the text you write, and the platform you sent it from, such as web, iOS, or Android. It does not ask for your name or email. We use it to fix problems and improve the app.
If you rate a practice session, we store the partner you practiced with, a star rating, an optional comment, how long the session ran, and the app version. We do not store the conversation with that rating.
The contact form on this site asks for your name, email, an optional organization, and a message. We use that information only to reply and to follow up about using Share the Bridge with your group. Those messages are emailed to the operator and are not added to a marketing list.
The app records anonymous counts so we can see whether people are using the tools: a presentation started, reached the cross, or finished; a practice session started (with the partner you chose); and a resource opened (with that resource’s id). These counts do not include your name, notes, or conversation text.
Page views help us understand which screens people open. On the web, Vercel Web Analytics records that visit. On the iOS and Android apps, a page view includes the screen path, a visitor id stored on the device, and a general description of the operating system and device type. We do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
If the app hits an unexpected error, a short diagnostic report may be sent to Sentry. That report contains the error and a stack trace, shortened so it does not include a large response or your notes. We use it to find and fix crashes.
Our servers also see standard request details, including an IP address, when the app calls them. IP addresses are used to limit abusive traffic. They are not used to build a profile of you.
We use a few providers to run the app. They process information only so those features can work:
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We share it with these providers only to operate the app, or when the law requires it.
Share the Bridge is a general-audience tool for anyone learning to share the Gospel, including students in a school or ministry setting. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not ask a child to create an account. A ministry leader who writes to us through the contact form does so as an adult.
You can use the app without sending us a name or email. You can delete notes and practice history in the app, and you can remove everything stored on a device by deleting the app or clearing the site data.
To ask for a copy of a ministry inquiry or feedback you sent, or to ask us to delete it, write through the contact form or email support@arjungupta.dev. Include enough detail for us to find the message. Anonymous feedback and usage counts are not tied to a name, so we may not be able to find a specific record.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to appeal a decision about a request. We will honor those rights where they apply.
If this policy changes, the updated page will be posted at sharethebridge.app/privacy with a new date. Continued use of the app after that date means you accept the updated policy.
